Beginner Session Overview
Ideal for first-timers and those building a surfing foundation.
Master the fundamentals in a safe, warm, and controlled environment. Our Beginner Sessions replace intimidation with the pure joy of catching your first wave.
The Experience:
The Beginner Gravy Train: A gentle 1ft wave at a smooth pace, perfect for building confidence.
Expert Guidance: Certified instructors provide hands-on coaching in the water.
The Foundation: Every session starts with a 15-minute land lesson on mechanics.
Maximum Repetition: Average 15+ waves per session to refine your skills.

Duration: 1 or 2 Hour Options
Capacity: Max 10 surfers for personalized attention.Weekday: 1 Hour: $99 | 2 Hour: $159
Weekend: 1 Hour: $125 | 2 Hour: $185
Prerequisites: Proficient swimmer or able to stand in 3ft 6in of water.
Gear: Complimentary foam surfboards included.
Beginner Session Requirements:
Ages 5+
Ages 5–7 must have a parent/guardian in the water
Ages 8+ must be at least 4'0" tall
Sessions take place in 3’6” of water with group instruction. Guests should be comfortable in the water, able to stand at that depth, and maintain control of their surfboard for their safety and others.
THE FINE PRINT
Hours: Generally 7 AM – 11 AM and 8 PM – Midnight (varies by Waterpark schedule).
Fees: All prices subject to a 6% registration fee; paid in full at booking.
Cancellations: Bookings are non-refundable. Transfers allowed based on notice:
72 – 24 Hours: $50 fee.
Under 24 Hours: No transfers or credits.
